I'm trying to remember which Tom Clancy novel had the US back a plan for "peacekeeping" troops to patrol the border between Israel and the Palestinians.
Anyway ... I think something along those lines is going to be necessary to bring peace to that area.
Given that Israel is literally surrounded by enemies who are vocal in their intentions to destroy the nation/people - it's not difficult to understand their "paranoia" and "to hell with what everybody else thinks" attitude.
I'm fine with Israel keeping the land it captured from attacking nations. But if they gave those people permits to build there ... they should honor those permits.
In my opinion HONOR and Netanyahoo are mutually exclusive Walt. He has consistently done what he wanted to do and never HONORED a g-d thing! He is a thug and takes what he wants and most of the world tells him "ATTA BOY. KEEP IT UP" He is a disgusting man who breaks previous agreements. He is a small-time hood dictator despot.
