Do you still balance your checking account?

When I worked for a bank, I was surprised at the number of people who didn't balance their account.

    My wife takes care of that and she keeps it balanced to the penny ever mouth. Cheers

    Yes.  I do it monthly but just shore up my register with my online account.......I don't use the paper statement for it.  But I get the paper statements.

    I check my Debit card amounts.  I just use my checking account that way.  I never get too surprised.  It is always lower than I hope though.
