Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Robert Mueller will soon face interrogation. I hope he figuratively annihilates the trumpican LIARS all set to destroy him. Will he?
I may be wrong here but while listening to the proceedings, it seemed to me that one of the reasons why he sounds so unsure is because he doesn't really know what is in his own report.
So far his performance is very disappointing to me Walt. He seems confused at times and out of his depth. I don't know what the he** I expected but it was not this. Oh well. Thank you for your reply m'dear! :)
It could be that, as he admitted, his "aide" was in charge of the day-to-day running of the investigation and compiling the report. So (IMO) the person they should be questioning, is his aide/adviser.
The morning session sucked. It was handled by the Judiciary Committee under Chairman Jerry Nadler. Very disappointing and stilted and hesitant and confusing. But the afternoon session headed by Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee ROCKED! Didja watch all of it Walt? MOrning was doomy gloomy. Afternoon it sizzled! Thank you for your reply! :)
"Personally, I have not watched the testimony. I suspect it is going to be the intellectual equivalent of a tennis volley between the Democrats and the Republicans who wish to make Mueller look bad. I'll wait until things shake out a bit and there are less contingencies to evaluate.)
There is a concept in contract law called "parole evidence." Generally speaking, it a concept that says if you have a written agreement or product (such as contract or a submitted report) you are generally not allowed to subsequently modify what the report says at a later date without the consent of the other party to the changes you propose.
Plus you are getting testimony from an investigator (now a private citizen, but still possessing an approach attuned to legal concepts) after a certain amount of reflection on what was investigated and what conclusions were made and what additional conclusions may or may not make sense now upon that reflection.
I think the most information will present itself (clearly or not) in the differences between what Mueller testifies to orally and what the report says when he tells them to "go by the report."
Edit: removed the word "match."

The billybarr fake AG placed constraints on what Mueller could/could not say. Plus Mueller is a very careful man. So the morning session was terrible in my opinion. Jerry Nadler, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and the peeps who asked the questions didn't hit the desired target. But all was forgiven in the afternoon session tom in my opinion. Chairman Adam Schiff of the Intelligence Committee handled everything brilliantly as did the questioners. It sizzled! Of course the trump and his cabal et al will drastically reconfigure it. But we have the tape so once again they will be ridiculous foolishly stupid dumb when they tell us what wasn't said and deny what was. Sameoldsameoldsameold crap. Thank you for your thoughtful and informative reply. I wish there were NO constraints on what people say. None. You?

Sure--no constraints as soon as everybody becomes educated in morality (what we should do because of what we are) and ethics (practical morality for everyday life).
Edit: posted a definition of ethics
