Why would someone say it's pathetic that "the only requirement to become an American citizen is to be born here"?


  First of all, it's inaccurate. Thousands of people every year become American citizens through naturalization, none of whom were born in the US.

  • Well if they ever start giving a test to everyone in order to achieve residency 
    I'm most assuredly doomed if it involves a lot of math.
    I would just have to move to Canada.
    I better start learning the words to "Oh Canada" now!
    Jamie will help me.  I bet she's a good singer.
