    What a shocker.

You hear the news every time you log in here.

I don't watch it at all.  I get it all on my email homepage and from other websites I visit.

I quit watching the news on TV when George W. Bush was president. To top that off, the local news was filled with drive-by shootings and stabbings every morning.
All-in-all, it was a depressing way to start the day.

I came to rely on Sharonna and Rosie for any news they felt needed to be addressed.  Big Giggles!  It's true! This post was edited by Merlin at July 29, 2019 8:59 AM MDT

I never thought I'd be horrified by this, but I AM.  LOLOLOL

I know you are able to totally put your own head into what I say and Rosie too.  So, I feel less responsible.  But as someone said (I cannot remember now) I would never join a club that wanted me for a member?  Well,  I have never wanted a member to actually listen to me!  I always come from the standpoint that no one agrees.  THAT IS WHY I SHOUT.   Oh God.  Now what?  Do I have to run for something now?   Am I important????   NEVER!  I AM TOO LAZY.  I CANNOT.  I WON'T RUN,.

Maybe I can moderate the moderators on here. That would be quite a lofty position. Oh. Wait. I do that already.

    Nevermind.

I am cracking up!  If the shoe were on the other foot, I would be Horrified, Too!
Thanks to you, I don't have to put my head into it. I take that as a huge compliment and yes.... I could.
These days, politics are beyond any form of anything but a bad and VERY SCARY soap opera.
When I have the choice of "The Walking Dead," "The Zombies" or "Trump," it leads me to go back to reading things that made much more sense.
For example, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe."  Fairy tales that have meaning makes a lot more sense than what society has chosen these days.

I totally love your outlook on life and Do value your opinion. You are so good at screening the good, the bad, and the ugly for me. Giggles! Hugs and Loves! Merlin :) :) This post was edited by Merlin at July 29, 2019 12:39 PM MDT

Nearly every day. Local to get the weather and to find out how many people were shot.
I also watch the evening news with Nora Roberts.

I don't. At least not on tv. I go out and get the news from different sources. On the internet that is.

Twice a day, 6 am and 7 pm.
Unless there's something very big happening and then I'll tune it as often as possible.
