There was a cool breeze coming off the Pacific on a hot summer night in Malibu. The full moon caught the glimmer of phosperous dancing on the waves. At least, I think it was the full moon. Either that or Don's extremely white bottom as he dove into the ocean. We played, naked to the world, gleaming with the stars above.
Does swimming with a scuba tank count? In that case, the Florida Keys. It was some of the clearest water I've been in plus I've seen tons (literally) of fish etc. there.

We swam in rock quarries when I was a kid, well, mostly when I was a teenager. We would skip school in the afternoons and go out and swim in pristine clear blue water....COLD!!! As far as anyone knew there was no bottom. No one ever found the bottom. There were high rocks to jump and dive from but I didn't. They were all too high for me. Fun memories. I remember where they are........
