Why? If there were no buyers there would be no sellers Andy. I don't get why they aren't equally guilty of breaking the law. Thank you for your reply. I think it's probably the same in the states and that makes absolutely no sense to me at all! :)

  • Sellers get harsher penalties because they aren't paying income taxes on what they sell.

I can see what you are saying, Rosie. Drug buyers are equally guilty of breaking the law, we can't deny that, but our legal system takes the stance that if the dealers weren't dealing then the buyers wouldn't be able to buy, therefore they consider dealing a more serious crime.

That's typical of the Conservative government.

No the seller gets a bigger penalty. And yes they should get the worse end of the deal. The buyer is only hurting themselves and their families the dealer is hurting multiple people and the entire community.

No Sweetie.....Laws against possession with intent to manufacture and distribute have a  much higher penalty than simple possession of a small amount . Would you give equal punishment to the kid who buys a half ounce of weed from the dealer who has 5 pounds in his trunk ?

The seller is the worse of the two because the buyer is feeding a habit. The sellers are ruining lives of the weak.

But if no one  bought drugs it would put drug dealers out of business Andy. I guess this is like which came first...the chicken or the egg? Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday to thee! :)

If there were no buyers. If there were no demand for illegal drugs then sellers would be put out of business. Why don't folks  stop buying illegal drugs and put drug dealers out of business m2c? Thank you for your reply! :)

Here' the thing. If there were no buyers for illegal drugs that would put sellers out of business. Supply and demand. The drug addicts demand illegal drugs and the sellers are only too happy to oblige them. If  he market dried up/disappeared the problem would be solved. Thank you for your reply Al and Happy Sunday! :)

If there were no buyers there would be no sellers. The fault lies with the people who demand the illegal drugs pearl. If they stopped buying drugs the drug problem would go away. Thank you for your reply! :)
