The technology (the internet, etc.) has made life much easier for us in many ways, but we're beginning to see the adverse effect that same technology has brought with it. On line bullying so bad it causes kids to commit suicide, hacking the accounts of others for personal or monetary gain, attempts to sway our elections, the ease with which a lie can be spread throughout the world before someone has a chance to fact check it and say it isn't true. people spending too much time on their cell phones to the exclusion of social engagement with others.
