I have never riven anyone to the airport, and only once did I drive someone to the ER.

    Why?

Why would anyone want to know this?

    WHO THE HECK CARES?

Calm down, it’s not the end of your world. It’s merely a lighthearted and harmless conversation-starter. You’re not required to participate if it does not meet with your extremely high standards of what should or should not be posted here.

I haven't done either of those in my entire life.

However, someone else has had to drive me to the emergency room on more occasions than I can count (the latest being 2 weeks ago).

I'm healing nicely.  I'm going to have a nice scar though.

Departure flight. I think it was a year ago now. Or close to it. :/ Either way, it's been too long.

Several years ago, driving my sister to the airport. It was enjoyable. I am so grateful that I get along so well with both my brother and sister.

And I'm grateful I've not had to do option two -- I don't even like thinking about it.

    :)

    Oh, wow.

I hope things are OK - - I don't even like hearing sirens. (A good friend, who served in the military, said, that my fear is simply PTSD. I do have reason for fears about emergency rooms. He helped/s me deal with the memories by just listening and caring.0

Why I went into all of these details, I don't know.
    :)

  • You shared it because all the talk of emergency drama triggered your sub-conscience.  I love it when you share things, Welby.  You are interesting to me.  So, here's a little something to make your condition worse, no things did not turn out OK.  The person I took to the hospital died.  It was the mother of a good friend of mine.  She had a stroke from serious diabetic issues.  The rest of us are doing fairly well now day to day but the healing takes time.  So does paying off funeral expenses.
