What's your favorite recipe that features mayonnaise as a key ingredient?

So many wonderful salad's, spread's, dips' and dressing's! I wander if there is any cookbooks dedicated too one of the greatest foods ever invented? Maybe I can partner with Hellman's
 and become a gazillionaire!

**Feel free to include lot's of speling and grammeratical errors in your post. I isn't to picky.**

Sharonna is my big sister from another mister. She and I will always both simultaneously love each other to pieces and hate each other to death. I miss her.

I hope she is well. I sincerely worried about her blood pressure a time or two. She got so worked up about things. I felt bad for her, being wound up like that.

And now for local news. The body of an unidentifiable unidentified man was found slumped over a laptop computer, preliminary speculation is that he suffered a massive coronary most likely triggered by something he was reading online. Authorities are investigating an obscure terrorist group that calls itself the Mayonnaise Mafia, which has joined forces with another equally shadowy organization known as the Anti-Grammar Gang. A poorly-written note claiming responsibility for the death was found near the body. More at eleven when a news conference will be held.
On the lighter side, bunnies and puppies frolicking together at a children’s fair were the highlight of the day under sunny skies and calm winds . . .

Are you wondering "What did I ever do to Savvy to deserve this?"

The idea for the mayo post occurred to me as I was whipping up some chickpea salad on Friday evening. The grammar thing was a spur-of-the-moment addition.

I'm glad you took it in the spirit in which it was intended, and are appropriately flattered that you were in my thoughts. :)

    Hi ~ :) :)
I'm thinking mayonaise can't be the "real mayo" if it doesn't have one of the main ingedients which is egg yolks.
Yolks are the farthest thing from vegan that I can think of.  It doesn't matter if "Best Foods" makes it or you make it at home.  If it carries the name, mayonaise, it MUST have egg yolks in it. The dictionary tells me this.

The best thing I like to eat that has mayonaise as a main ingredient is tunafish.

Besides the salads like potato, tuna, and chicken, I have some delish casserole recipes that call for mayo including squash cass, broccoli cass, and a fabulous crab cass.  I also love homemade salad dressings like french, thousand island, and ranch.  They call for mayo too.  I eat little mayo and decided to try the product that is made with Olive oil and I'm now hooked on it.  While I don't like Kraft regular mayo (I'm a Hellman's fan), I prefer their olive oil product.

I've tried some casseroles with mayo in them. One of my friends uses mayo instead of butter on the bread when she makes grilled cheese. I tried it and prefer butter, but it wasn't bad.

I'm totally with you on the olive oil mayo. Unless I find the vegan 'Just Mayo' on sale, it's the only kind I buy now. I tried the Heinz mayo and it was pretty good, but I'm a Hellman's fan, too.

Potato salad just isn't right without it. Although I prefer aioli.

One of my favorite recipes for mayo is thick slices of tomato on a thick layer of mayo on rye toast. I don't use Hellman's because it has a preservative in it. When I eat simple things like this, I can taste the additive(s), but not with things like mayo and tuna, another favorite of mine especially if I have celery.

I also make my grilled cheese sandwiches with mayo instead of butter. I had a heart attack a few years ago and I found different ways to reduce fats in my diet. I also was able to reduce my sugar, sodium, and calorie intake by experimenting with different combinations in food.

Any recipe that calls for mayo gets Miracle Whip substituted.
The favorite is doubled eggs, followed by tuna salad.

Do you mean deviled eggs instead of doubled eggs?
