Hah! You do not hear people speak much of the Dr. today. I've always loved that song. My other favorite is "The Cover of The Rolling Stones" That tune is pure lunacy at it's best and I f'ing love it
Not many artists engage in this frenetic, narcotic-drenched style of music-making today. I guess the drugs were much better and more easily accessible back then.
I like that one too. I went through a phase of thinking the 80’s music was the best, but lately, even though a wee bit before my time, I'm all about the 70’s. Defo must have been the drugs ;)
I've been listening to more 70's stuff lately, too. My new cable provider has those 'Music Choice' channels. I had it on 80's, but they play at least one Bon Jovi song every hour and I couldn't take it, so I've been leaving it on 70's more. Lots of Dr. Hook and Roberta Flack; quite an eclectic mix!
I like Bon Jovi about as much as I like Guns N Roses, which is NOT AT ALL. 80's had great music, but also had some really crap music.
