I had posted a picture. I had found the picture and hit "copy" on it from the page where I found it and came back here and "pasted" it. (I don't know if that means I used a link. By 'original post,' do you mean from where I found the picture in the first place?)  I found it again. I'll try again.

    :)

    No photo description available.

Yes...that's it exactly, Welby.if you have the pucture and you upload it, then it will reside in the mug data repository. If you use a link, it merely referenceces an outside source location. If (for whatever reason) there is a break in that, eithwr at the source or within the Mug, the pic could be affected.

I'm pretty dense on stuff like this. Thanks for helping me.

I posted the picture here again successfully. I did it today in the exact same way I did it that first time. So, does that mean that it might disappear possibly again? (I admit I may not have understood completely your explanation here.)
    :)

So, maybe you're saying that where I found that original photo (as in, the first photo; the first time I posted the picture -- the one that's gone now - -  I don't remember exactly where I got it. It wasn't where I got this one today, though.) - - so if something happened to the site from which I got that original image, then that could make the image here in answerMug disappear? Or are you saying, if I did what I did, then the image should stay 'intact' in mug data repository?
In any case, I know I used the same 'procedure' earlier today to post this image that I used to originally to post that first image back in August of 2019.

As you can tell, I'm pretty low-tech.
    :)

    Thanks again for helping!
    :)

I swear to God I have that picture you posted in my repertoire.  Salvadore Dali and DaDa art were big in the 60's.  Dali was Surreal, I'm sure you know, but it is fun to talk to you about this stuff.  Cuz you probably know lots.

Anyway the Da Da movement was big and so was Surreal Art and Dali was the Father of that whole outrageous and ingenious concept.

The end.   I'll find a good picture for you.

What is going on with the photographs?

I thought picture meant any PICTURE.  Not photography.  Sheesh.

Look at what I wanted to post here.
