Just received the turntable I ordered off eBay (for $200, mind you) and it arrived broken :( Man I really truly hate the post office sometimes. The box says fragile on it, but of course they paid no attention to that.
I ordered a book one time from Amazon and there were pages missing from a supposedly from a brand new copy. They immediately remedied the problem though and got me a good copy.

I hope it came from a reputable source. Ebay rules (I believe) these days require shipping insurance. That insurance is for the purchaser. That's last resort though. Hopefully your seller will make good on it for you. I have about 2500 transactions on ebay. I was there back when it was fun and just people...........not companies. I saved a ton on textbooks and law school case books.

I had a text book with pages missing once. It was a $250 book. It wasn't easy but I did get another copy.
