    I saw that. He's disgusting.

The vast VAST majority of Americans want expanded background checks.

This asinine statement is directly from the NRA Institute for Legal Action (LOL) website:
"NRA opposes expanding firearm background check systems because background checks don’t stop criminals from getting firearms, because some proposals to do so would deprive individuals of due process of law, and because NRA opposes firearm registration."

If the US has never had "expanded background checks" what does the NRA base this comment on? Studies made by the NRA themselves? The very people who have money funneled to them via gun manufacturers, sadly.

If they want real-life information, it would be great if they looked at information and data from countries that have strict gun control.

They do not want a gun registry.  Mandatory background checks creates a de facto registry.

    *smh*

Why do firearms have serial numbers?  Someone is registering these.

Think of all of the things that have serial numbers.  The times they have been important for me is for warranty purposes or recovery of stolen property.  Guns are sold in different countries with all kinds of laws by manufacturers and also, there are seven states that have mandatory gun registration.

    smh?

Serial numbers are registered. That information is being stored. The NRA and the Republican dog & pony show are Red herrings to breed mass hysteria in Republican voters. True story.

What can be found with a gun's serial number is where the gun was shipped when it was manufactured, if the gun has been reported as stolen, and if the gun has been used in a crime.  Don't you watch cop shows?
