I had one from Slayer. I really did not like them but I would argue with adults who tried to say heavy metal was devil worship music. I would let them go through my cassettes and tell me which was the devil worship music. They always went for Ozzy for some reason.   It was my this is the devil worship stuff. (I do not believe and was real all just image)
If you brought that to a Catholic school I am surprised they did not kick you out permanently.

I was older so I got to buy it. But I did not actually want to listen to it. I just wanted cause they banned it.

I had it and never opened it left ot in the plastic wrapper even. Buut I moved and forgot a box it was in. I was so mad.  I had it and Ice T: Copkiller and Poison: Open Up and Say Ahh! & Flesh and Blood all uncensored and unopened.
I did look it up and they are not worth anything. But still makes me mad. This post was edited by my2cents at August 25, 2019 8:26 AM MDT

Grade 4.  I was listening to Elvis.    And people all over the Nation were horrified by his swinging hip action.  He was called Elvis the Pelvis by shocked adults everywhere.

That wasn't that long ago, the late 50's.  And people just could not believe he would  be that wanton on stage.

I didn't come into my own until the  Beatles hit the scene.

In grade four I didn't listen to music. I fooled around then played when I got home.

  • I was a good boy I tell ya and don't ever believe any rumors to the contrary.  My mom and dad made sure that only pure and positive things reached my virgin ears.  So... thank God for Gangstah friends.  They hooked me up with copies of their sh!t.  Now I'm pretty fly for a white guy.
