Have you ever had one of your questions answers by “Rosie”? On here or your site you all were on before?

I am well aware that we are not to mention other members in a disparaging way, that is not my intent here. I am genuinely curious if she has ever answered a question. I’ve never seen it in my time here and when I was doing my “call out” for replies on my Tom Cruise question,  made me think of it. SO DON’T DELETE THIS! Please :)

Yes.  She was "banished" to her own corner because members felt she was overwhelming the site with so many questions.

  • I don’t really think she was “banished“. I’m sure she is free to answer any questions she wants to.

Technically speaking, the amount of posts she has on a daily basis was only a portion of the reason(s) for her corner being created. There was also the content of her posts, and the strife she caused by all of it. Imagine a member more offensive than I am with my stance on proper English grammar, more annoying than I am with tildes and sandwiches, more divisive and opinionated than I am on political issues, and who garnered as many reports and complaints as I do, and that’s how a corner gets assigned.

I committed the error of failing to read the fine print in the Corner Clauses and posted questions there. I was immediately informed by management of my wicked ways when my post was deleted posthaste, and admonished not to repeat the action ever again.

I have brought this up many times.

Then I thought about it.  Do I EVEN WANT HER TO?  LOL

We’ll all know whether or not she reads all or part of this thread when she posts a cryptically worded question disparaging people who post content in ways that she finds both offensive and beneath her dignity. It it will most likely include a pat on the back about how wonderful things were during the past 70 years yet have deteriorated into humans doing negative things for the first time in history, starting approximately around the campaign season for the 2016 US presidential election, and lasting throughout the current presidential administration.

  • I seem to recall there was a discussion in the main forum here at answerMug a few years ago that unexpectedly blew up and brought everyone into it.  I fail to remember now what the topic was about but Rosie was somehow pulled in to it and for the first time ever I saw her hop on to another member's post and make a comment.  This was a significant enough event, much like a Crucifixion or a bomb drop on Hiroshima, that I made note of it.  I wish I could place what the brouhaha was all about though.  Haven't seen it happen since.  I don't always agree with Rosie, nobody agrees all the time, but I certainly like her.  She is sharp and oft times witty.  when you somehow spark in her the desire to regale you with stories of her life you are actually in for a treat.  She is an interesting person and has a million of them.  To say she is prolific would be an understatement.  I fully believe that Rosie and her questions are well on their way to becoming the stuff of internet legend.  She is a powerful presence at this site.  I've long since decided to give up, cause she totally owns us.  LOL!  I personally think we should have a day to celebrate her.  Hooray for Rosie day.

  • Interesting, thank you. When I had my last account I did have some conversations that I did enjoy. She told me some interesting stories about her past I think it was a baking question that sparked our convo. I don’t dislike her, I don’t know her. I dislike the way she goes on the offensive when someone has a slightly different opinion than hers. That’s all.
