- anyway, Enya certainly takes me away with her "Smaointe"
- this song closes her amazing album "Shepherd Moons" (Where's ALF? He and I have always shared our admiration for her "Caribbean Blue," which is on this album, too)
- the song stands alone well but, after listening to the entire album in order -- this song then appears -- and -- I can't describe how it affects me - -
- pure joy maybe
I hope you can listen if you haven't heard it. Six minutes, yeah; that's long for me, too! Ha!
P.S. I've never known what the words mean -- and that makes no difference to me -- the overall experience is superbly ethereal for me
