It's great if you're high.  It makes me want to do an Indian tribal dance or something.

  • It’s great, and I haven't even been high in over a year now...-_-

OH GOD ME TOO.  Look how many cigarettes she had to smoke to get her voice like that. And god knows how much heroin.

Poor Marianne.  But that album was great with that song on it.

Ya plus she has a mouth on her that would make a sailor blush. There is a pretty x rated but pretty cool song on the same album - if I recall it's Why Did You Do What You Did. Cheers and happy weekend!

I rememeber. She was a hard-ass.  That was probably the inspiration for the likes of Allison Morrisette giving head in the theater.

I remember young Marianne.  Singing Go Away From My World.   She was so soft and pretty as a young English lass with her gorgeous folk ballads and then she was ravaged by those Rolling Stones guys.  They passed her around like she was a joint.

So, this is what we wound up with.   A blousey, hussy with a great album.

She was extremely fortunate that she didn't join the "27 Club". She was friends with Jim Morrison and his gf Pam Coulson, who became card-carrying members.
