What if a GAFFE is offensive and taken seriously by hostile foreign powers that be? Can we afford another "misspeaker" "misstatement maker" "mistake"?

What is so WRONG with having a leader who is well-spoken, intelligible, intelligent with integrity and virtually gaffe-free? Is that un P.C. to thee? Geez sheesh good grief. What gives?
