I do not back out of parking spaces.  I back into parking spaces.  Always.  When I moved here my neighbors all told me that the "rule" was that we had to pull nose-first into parking spaces.  I kept backing in.  I live in a townhouse and my assigned parking spaces are right in front of my front door.  After making the case for every reason to back in and pull forward to leave no one cares anymore so people do it like they want to.  I have lived here four years and there have been two crashes in the parking lot...........both times someone was backing out of a parking space.    The old "keep the omissions from the vehicles away from doors and windows" is no longer really valid.   This post was edited by Thriftymaid at September 13, 2019 9:37 PM MDT
