Do you have them in your area?

Only the single female kind. Heheh

We have a bigger concern with gators in our pools.

Yes, they are black and called Florida Panthers.  It's a subspecies of cougar.

There's lots of them around here.  One walkedeven into a house up the hill and made itself at home.  I don't know which would be worse - finding a cougar in your house or a bear (the bears are really active this time of year).

We have them around  here - I never see them but I've seen their tracks and sometimes my dog acts weird and I figure it's because he knows there is something out there that is way tougher then him. Cheers!

Same thing. They have numerous names depending on where you live. We wouldn't call them Mountain Lions as we have no mountains here, just lots of forest. This post was edited by Element 99 at September 25, 2019 8:54 AM MDT

I live in an urban area in Minnesota and we have been warned about them.

  • According to the DEC, no.  People have reported and pictures of them though.

Sta5e DEC said the same thing about coyotes for years until they couldn't BS anymore.  So who really knows?

Yeah, we have lots of coyotes, too. Even in the city.

  • State DEC denied it here UNTIL they were being seen in and around cities.
