An American called Willian Chester Minor...1834 to 1920 ....me was an American army surgeon and one of the largest contributors to the Oxford English Dictionary...he murdered George Merrett  on the banks of the Thames in London..  He thought he was going to be robbed ...he paid the guys family loads of money and spent the last forty years of his life in an asylum ...
