Anyone remember the Twilight Zone where a beautiful woman was considered to be deformed because her features were not PORCINE?

That is the society that chump insists exists. He looks in the mirror and sees a pig and so of course that is his standard of beauty. Everyone who kowtows to him bobbleheads in agreement. Piglike porkers proliferate because the head pig demands it. For how long? I dunno.

You ask how long? I hope not long!

But yes, I have noticed that anyone who disagrees with something Trump says or does is automatically accused of being a libtard.. or a lefty.. or both.. that shows a very limited mind-set - which is exactly the same thing as you describe.. anyone or anything different is a  threat.

Recently he accuses us of being treasonous. He wants to charge Adam Schiff, Chair of a committee investigating his prolific  traitorous treasonous corruption, of treason. He says Whistleblowers are spies and alludes to the days when spies were shot to death. He started out going downhill on an escalator and was a totally insane inane character then. Now he is a caricature of a cartoon of THE JOKER. Only now he has the power to destroy whatever he wants. How did we come to this? The prodons out there admired him and still do. GO FIGGER!  Thank you for your reply Addb! :)

It aired decades ago and I still remember it vividly. You never saw the faces of the doctors and nurses right away. All the more shocking when you did. The beautiful woman was exiled to somewhere with other "deformed" people and I recall a very handsome man greeted her. I think the pigfaced folks convinced her that she was ugly. Amazing how relevant that fantasy is today. Our reality. Thank you for your reply tom! :)

Yes, I remember that episode well --

I believe the episode was called "The Eye of the Beholder"

(It featured Donna Douglas from "The Beverly Hillbillies" TV show)

((hugs)) You are a pal m'dear. Replying with PROOF of my memories. Only the grotesqueness of the pigfaced is even worse than I remembered. I loved Twilight Zone but there are a few episodes that stand out above and beyond and this is one of them. Another one was enemies who were mirror images of one another. The right side was black/left side white on some. The right side was white/the left side black for others. They hated each other but were the same exact. And so it goes. Thank you for your reply WQ and Happy Monday to you! :) This post was edited by RosieG at October 7, 2019 7:11 AM MDT

    You're welcome.

I haven't seen a lot of the Twilight Zone in comparison to you but this episode seems to be truly iconic. When I watched it, I (for obvious reasons to me, ha) also took great notice of the very handsome guy portrayed by actor Edson Stroll (I just looked up his name) in the episode -- he appears at the end of the episode, I believe, and is very kind to Donna Douglas and escorts her to where he and other "ugly" people live.
