I researched it and found out because of my Jewish heritage, if I can prove it, I am already a citizen of Israel. I have seen a pic of my mother standing in front of my grandparent's grave at the Mt Sinai Jewish cemetery in Portland, Maine. One of my sisters has the photo.

Nope. When I was nearing the end of my second enlistment in the Marine Corps, I was considering my next move, and I toyed with the idea of joining the French Foreign Legion. That’s probably the closest I’ve ever come to acquiring dual citizenship. ~
Kind of - I can cross the Nanoose Bay border that runs along side the Rez anytime I what. Its not in a different country but they do govern themselves and have their own police force. Cheers!
