Punctuation can be correct according to the rules of writing or it can be used creatively and expressively.

I see no reason why people shouldn't be playful with tildes or any other mark.

I might want to express water, waves, wavering, flow or floating ≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈

But even dirt can be fun, hands in the earth, pulling weed and rescuing worms.

And even better the hot bath or the swim in a waterhole afterwards. :)

I'm wealthy.  The poor always cry when wealth is displayed.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~  I am rich in my Tildes.   Have some.  I am also generous with them.

I am shocked, appalled and sickened by your absolutely disrespectful flaunting of tildes!  Do you know how hard I had to work the get the few measly tildes I own today?  Do you even care how I had to bow and scrape, or about the daily self-degradation and soul-robbing humiliation I put up with?  Do you know the things I've allowed to be done to my body just to gather a few crummy tildes?  It doesn't get handed to all of us on silver platters, Rich Lady!!!!!  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
