Discussion»Questions»Home and Garden» How old is your clothes washer and dryer? Not that I really care and I'm not gonna judge you. I'm just trying to make conversation.
Only been here a sec, have to sign off again -- been sick. :( I need to respond to a bunch of answers, too, that I got and comments/etc. Hope to get to it all soon. Be Well :)
I need to acknowledge so many other comments here and elsewhere, it bothers me now but I'm zonked. Sorry, all, in case yo u read this -- im goign to go to sleep now. If any others see this, thanks for the well wishes.
Fifteen years. When the last one died we asked a laundromat what brand they used and bought the most heavy-duty model. I often have to wash horse rugs which are heavy and full of hair and dust. I needed something solid enough to endure the rough treatment. The machine is still going with no problems.
5 years. We expect them to die soon, as they are only built to last 5 years, after which they will sell you a new warranty for a ridiculous amount. But...my stepdaughter manages a Sears appliance outlet and gets BIG discounts. Oh...another answer, but a bit more humorous.

15 years old and they look like they are brand new. I needed to replace a belt on my dryer and the Washer froze while it was in storage and I needed to replace a nylon elbow that connected the water to the machine. When we turned it on, water ooze out and flooded the laundry area. I also needed to buy the electronic mechanism for the Washer controls for $35. They are white. I am proud of my white whirlpool washer and dryer.

In honor of your lunacy, which I love, here is Kraftwerk's "Endless Endless," which I also love. :)
EDIT: Listen while you can! Ha! It took me four different youtube videos of the song before I found one that would post, ha! It may not stay here long. Ha!. Maybe you already know the song. :)

I live in an association and we have washer/dryers in the laundry room outside of our chalets. That's what they call the condos. Chalets. ????
I thought we would be skiing in Arizona when I saw that. They are only a couple of years old
