How late into the year do you often find yourself doing typical yard-work? End of Summer? End of Autumn? Or maybe you don't do yard-work.

I usually do my last mowing and clean up the first week in December
and most of that is just for the mulching of leaves.

I do yard work all year long (as weather permits).   Trees and roses need pruned,  redwood tree debris need to be removed after each storm (unless the ground is frozen), lawn gets thatched during the annual "January thaw", and more.

My green-waste recycle can always has something in it.

I live in an apartment building and the yard work is done by the maintenance crew.

I usally start winter clean up around the second week of September - I'm more or less done now but there is still a few leafs in the trees and Ill make sure I rake them up when they fall so I can add them to my garden (leafs are like gold to me). Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at November 5, 2019 9:54 AM MST

If you think that man's chest is sexy?  I have a skeleton that you can fantasize about.  That is gross.

Since when are rib bones sexy?  He's not skinny either.  Malformed and mis shapen.  I do about as much yard work as that gardner-wannabe you posted. I don't know why I am picking on him, it's just that he thinks he is hot.  That nauseates me.  Sorry.  He isn't.

You don't have to dare me.  Ask me nicely.  Or just believe me when I tell you I know this song.  She and it are long gone from my mind and memory.  And he still thinks he is hot.  he is not.  he looks like that horse I posted to me.

  • I wonder if he has any other horse-like qualities.  Wink-Wink!

I haven't done any this year because of two surgeries. I helped out the wife when I could...but no lifting. We don't rake leaves; they decompose to feed next year's grass. We finished  yesterday.

Like Shuhak’s answer above, he and I both live in California, so there are certain parts of gardening that are year-round feats for us.
