  • I would make a mess of unwinding them when I realized a cassette tape would be completely useless in my future.

    I used to just rewind them with my pinky. The last tape I bought was for Halloween horror movie music, and that was what made me appreciate film soundtracks early on. Along with the rock and metal, there are several movie scores in my library.

  • I usta back up my data on a tape drive.  I didn't want to do anything that would compromise my BASIC programs.
