Why is it that some countries are (or were) referred to as “The Motherland” and others as “The Fatherland”, while still others as both? ~

    The motherland is aways green and fertile, and der Futherland is out there somewhere else I fink....it's where guys can be alone  to pratice making babies...... Hehe

      I don’t just give them out, you have to earn them. Try making some sandwiches, for instance.

      I’ve already planned that part out: you’ll wield your knife to make my sandwiches while you’re still in jolly old England, then drop the knife when you fly across the pond to delivers deliver the finished product to me here in the land of the Yanks.
