Not yet, but I visited her home in Auburn, NY. She was a fascinating figure, especially for, among other things, being the first woman to lead men in battle during the Civil War.
I would do well to visit her home. Funny, I never thought of doing that.
Arguably, she has made a bigger impact on me than any other historical famous person. I distinctly remember the first time I read about her, sitting in my classroom in about fourth grade or so and becoming very, very emotional, with tears.
The more I read/find out about her, the more she amazes me. I don't think my jaw can drop any lower. :)
