I like to be outrageous every now and then. Here are my last 2 Halloween outfits - and I went dressed that way to work ...

Good golly miss molly YOU ARE A HOOT m'dear! You went to work that way? Were your co-workers dressed as niftily as you? You must work in a very laid back relaxed place. Your face looks very different in each one R. Both you separated by years or is it just artfully applied makeup? Thanks for the share. The most outrageous I ever dressed for a Halloween Party? All in black. It was many decades ago and I think I was dressed as Vampira but honestly I don't remember. I do remember the makeup was black too. It was quite outrageous for me. Thing is I never made it to the party. Picture this. I get a phone call half an hour before my date is supposed to pick me. He informs me that he and his last girlfriend decided to give it another try. He apologized and I said it was okay. It really wasn't. I was crushed. I had a major crush on him. I got over it! :)

One year apart. It's the paint. The KISS outfit won me best costume this year, I was runner-up last year as Alice Cooper.
Postscript: we had a very hot day for October 31st this year, touching 100 degrees. The greasepaint melted on my way home - its something I don't recommend in the eye. I could hardly see out of my right eye the next day.

Oh my gosh R! You'd think they could make greasepaint makeup painless fer cryin' out loud! Hot lihts will always cause actors to sweat and being temporarily blinded and in pain is too big a price to pay for even the most dedicated. Your artistic side seeps out here and there. Excellent Grasshopper! Thanks for the added info! :)

I was in the KISS Army in the 70's but I almost got a dishonorable discharge  because the gal I was dating was a little bit country - fortunately she was hotter then hell so they forgave me.  Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at December 3, 2019 5:34 PM MST
