To send out my resume or not to send out my resume' that is the question.  I hate being a victim, especially when it is my fault I am being one.  I am lazy and I need to do this.  Just for security and peace of mind.  

Do house calls independently. Lots of older folks there who would appreciate that.

That is like you deciding to teach students one at a time making house calls.  SURE.  Easy for you to say.  It doesn't work. I have tried. And I am a good networker.  

I did that once...so did my son. I did one on one tutoring in chemistry and he did it in math for his surgeon's kids. We were a lot younger then.

I guess  I did not make my point clear. I have large bills.  I could never support myself on a finger-cross.  That is what I would have to do to.  I would have to cross my fingers and hope that I had a continuing stream of clients at the ready to pay all my bills. I would have to make at least Four Grand a month. I  could never do that with my own clients. NO WAY.    I would if I could make that work.  I never could make that work. I would need help to telemarket people.  Or pass out flyers and set up a website for me and then I would have to open my home to strangers or go to their house so I would have to have a pimp handy to make sure no one hurts me or he breaks their legs.  It gets expensive.
