    I tried that once and ended up with a black-eye.  I thought I saw a cute chick, but she was no cow (uh-oh, nuts!)  There was a scuffle and I ended up sitting in the snow with a split lip.

    I never liked canned peas. They made me gag when I was forced to eat them as a child. Nowadays, I sit in the garden and eat the fresh ones as a snack.

    I also hate canned peas. And green beans. I will buy the frozen when they are out of season. Canned corn is acceptable. I'll call my sister and ask when the new Florida crop of corn will be ready. She grows it.

    Nice!  I'm jealous!! I wish she could send me some.  I'm not a big fan of canned peas, either.

    When the FL crop is harvested, they sometimes ship some up north. Very expensive. They have 2 crops a year.

    Right now, I do not have a pea, have to pee, or like canned peas.

    I DO, however, have two people in my life I like to call, Sweet Pea, as a term of endearment.   One is a friend and the other my sister.
    Those peas are Never out of season.
