Do you ever have a wish to be creative? Would you want to write a novel or paint a painting?

I used to paint all the time, being an artist.  I miss doing it and often say I should take it up again.

I love to write too.  Don't think I have it in me to write a novel, but it's an ability I wouldn't mind having.

Is this something you really put together and published?  Very cool if it is!

I certainly have a creative side.  I love to write and am participating in the writing of a novel now.  When it comes to drawing I am the pits.  My artist friend, who mostly does painting and litho, finally admitted that I was missing some necessary component for it.  I have created a few interesting pottery pieces.  They were failed attempts at something that came out as nothing but I display them and get great comments on them.  ::)

Keep at the writing!!  I found that you get better and better the more you work at it.

I always wished I could paint a picture. I got a set of paints for Christmas one year. I had no idea what to do. After several days it occurred to me that I had a tube of paint the exact color of the sky, so I set up my little board ... It was a cloudy day and I couldn't find a patch of blue as big as my board, so I was defeated.

Another thing: that paint never dried. Since then I have learned that you're supposed to mix something with it to make it dry, and I guess that might have been that bottle that I didn't know what to do with, but I still don't know what you mix to make the paint dry.

Try writing.  You sound like a good writer.

You don't wish.  You either do it or you do not do it.

People who don't paint, have no idea what it really takes.  It takes paint. Buy some.  Wishes are now reality.

I have been drawing and painting all my life.  All I need is some paper and a pencil and a subject.

If you want to write a novel, it starts with really wanting to write and organizing your thoughts.  Take classes, read how to. Just like any skill.

I don't wish. I do.  I am not Picasso, but I am creative.   I can write.  I do it. On here.  I have no wish to write any novels. This is enough to give my creative juices a good outlet.

Can you design a computer? I can. But I can't draw or paint without something to trace and numbers for the colors.
