There are books about making sandwiches. Most of us like our old standby, like grilled cheese, BLT, ham and cheese, or tuna sandwiches. What kind do you like?
grilled cheese, pimento cheese, turkey and cheese, tuna
This is the best time of year for grilled cheese. I get a Brandywine tomato from my father's garden, some fall crop leaf lettuce, bacon and whole wheat bread and it's ON!
I love sandwiches so much I could live on them alone. The amazing lettuce wrap sandwich can be just as good as the bread kind. I do know that one.
Sandwiches rock from Tuna fish to peanut butter and all things sandwich in between.
2. Down Under. Men at Work introduced a whole slew of Americans to the idea of a Vegemite sandwich. Neither really caught on, when all was said and done, in the United States.
This is a great song still by the way. Isn't it almost impossible to screw up a song with a good flute (clarinet? Oboe?) lick in it? I think that is some kind of clarinet. You would know. It sounds like a flute too.
I like, or liked, a good crab sandwich. I say 'liked' because I never found one worth eating here in North America.
Anyone know where I can get a really tasty crab sandwich (or know how to make one). Or is it just that the flavor had gone out of crabmeat?
I meant to say BLTs but had cheese on the brain
i like pastrami ones
