It's just more likely to be excused in men while in women it's considered evil. With that being said, men are way better at handling conflict and competition than women. Two men will become better friends after a conflict or confrontation while women's relationships will fall apart because of a conflict. I know I don't handle conflict well at all.

I was so curious about this that I asked a friend of mine to spank me with one so I could finally find out. It packed a good sting but nothing I particularly remember now. The sting lasted a while though. Maybe it hurts worse getting it as a child. Everything is worse as a child.

Now it seems people fall apart at the slightest inconvenience. Everybody is just a big baby. Like we say at work, "Do you know the difference between an adult and a 5 yr. old? An adult is taller." Meaning people don't seem to grow up emotionally and behaviorally, and of course this isn't true of everybody all the time. It's probably because life, at least in this country, has gotten just too easy with all the conveniences and creature comforts. I'm grateful for all the ease of the modern world though. less
