What are some smells that you will always associate with memories of the circus from when you were young? ~

For me, freshly-popped popcorn, stale popcorn, freshly-roasted peanuts still in their shells, real-love animals and what they deposited on the ground, the canvas tents, etc.

Puke. Yes, the lovely stench seemed to hang in the air around the 'Tilt-o-Whirl.'

At the circus?  That sounds like a state fair.

I have never been to a circus. I heard clowns ate one of my uncles. I imagine they would smell like elephant crap.

Heading to Billings or Denver for the Circus was always our highlight as kids.  Working Ranches can get quite monotonous .....  Too bad you never went and with PETA you will never get the chance

I don't remember smells.  We went twice that I remember.  It was the big Barnum Bailey circus.  I don't think I was real impressed to be honest.  I prefer the fair when you walk around and ride rides, rather than sitting watching others do stuff.
