I remember a short story I read in junior high school were a poor married couple had two tangible assets: the husband's fancy pocket watch and the wife's gorgeous hair.
For Christmas, the husband sold the pocket watch to buy his wife a fancy hair accessory...and the wife sold her hair to a wig maker to buy her husband a nice leather strap for his pocket watch.
I just spent 600 dollars on new tires and bought a song from I-tunes for 1.25. Life is good. The lights are on and the fridge is full. Blessings abound. Wouldn't mind a new pair of shoes but I think I'll buy something nice for Goat instead. Mathematically, life demands trigonometry level numbers sometimes but I ain't playin that. Keeping it simple...remedial math. And I'm good with that. I'm happy.
