    Me too!
In fact, I'm glad you mentioned hummingbirds.  I need to fill their feeder.  Yes.  They are still around this time of year and get fussy if I don't keep them well fed.
    They truly are entertaining.
    Thanks Element!

California up to Vancouver have yer-long hummers. Ours disappear around the end of september. We didn't see many last summer. I think they stayed long enough to breed, then went up to Canada. We had a very hot summer.

Birds are the best at baby talk (ca ka - ca ka - ca ka). Actually I don't know about all birds but Robins have increasable hearing they can hear worms moving through the ground towards the surface then they  wait for the worm to peak out and they grab it. Cheers!

Our yard is very popular with robins. I can tell them apart be observing their small markings.

Markings as in foot patterns or marking as in digging with their feet?  Some birds do dig, to an extent to get to the bugs.  Thank the Universe for birds and keeping the insect population down.

  • Delivering babies of course.  Yes, I too have heard strange whispers that when a man and a woman love each other that he puts his winky-dinky in her and  afterward she grows a baby inside.  That sounds absolutely disgusting and quite implausible to me.  I'm sticking with the classic beautiful and whimsical Stork story.  Have a safe flight little one.

  • I was gonna go with this one.  It's cute and funny but I kept wondering if baby butts get moderated.  By some of the whackadoodle rules here I'm not even certain we can post a coppertone ad.  Submitted for your approval.  Enjoy.
