Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» If you lie to someone to cover your a** because you're doing something wrong it is a sign of disrespect contempt cowardice. Agree/dis?
Not really Rosie...it's just following the examples our Goverment leaders set for us...if they do it daily ,surely it's what they expect us all todo...
Hahahahahahaha! Funny Girl! Well certainly if "we" elect the SOB's we DESERVE whatever comes with it. A given. SIGH. Now getting down to the basics. I do think it is very disrespectful of anyone to lie to him/her(him/her being a mate or significant other). ESPECIALLY an anyone you are supposedly in love with or love. We expect "the other" to lie to us but our very own? It shows contempt disdain and a general lack of caring or connection. SIGH. How many do it? Legion. Why? Because it works. Sadly. Thank you for your reply D and Happy Monday to thee! :)
I think we all naturally embellish things a tiny bit to take the dairy off a bit of any situation Rosie... Far better to ease someone in to your bad deeds with a little bit of deception before actually coming clean and blurting out what really did transpire..... So long as I come clean before I snuff it ,no harm is is done until then.... My granddads philosophy is, Why do today what you can put of to tomorrow and apply that thinking every day and your life will be much easier ...hehe
Take the "dairy" off a bit? I don't understand what you mean by "dairy" D. For me "a little bit of deception" doesn't work for me and isn't my cuppa tea. I like straight to the point at all times. It's easier on me. Long ago in decades and decades if I deceived I worried about being found out. I figgered out truth at all times would serve me better so I don't play games. I say what I mean or I stifle it. Now do I change my mind about things? Of course I do. When I do I say so. It's just how I roll. As I said on another thread I am a square peg. Thank you for your reply D! :)
Take the dairy off ,is kind of slang for lessening the blame of the naughtly deeds I've been up to Rosie..like making up lame excuses that everyone knows is a fib ,but tolerates cuz they know that's al their getting for the moment....later on has to come clean and be told in private... My dad taught me that when he was forever telling fibs to my mum for gtting home late and she could smell beer on his breath...
She knew where he was ,you can set a clock by what my dad did....He knew he would have to grass on his self later to get his cuddles , we all knew he would before bed time...it was hellliours to watch them both at bed time....my dad was always happy with the outcome and so was my mum I reason....lol
Oh? Okey dokey. Thanks for the translation D. I expect there are folks who enjoy playing games. I'm not one of them. What goes on in families can vary from A to Z. If it works for all members who is to say it's wrong? Thank you for your reply D! :)
