To fall asleep on for a couple of hours in your backyard driveway after your parent took you home after you were tired. I remember that as a sweet memory my parents let me do in the summer. Wake up about 1965- 1970 or so in a quiet warm car in a secluded driveway. This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at January 30, 2020 9:27 AM MST

No.....no one would be dumb enough to mistake a child seat for a child....they also dont look the slightest bit human either :(

I can help those things. They need to be properly propped up.

Cars were invented, but no one used car seats.  I'm not sure when car seats were available, but not when I was growing up.

No, the car was new, but there were no car seats.  Thee were no seatbelts then either.  We took our chances in an accident. :)

No crash courses.  They just scooped you up off the road.

  • No, as a matter of fact seat belts were still not standard equipment in cars when I was a toddler. I recall a 1951 Plymouth that we owned. I used to stand up unrestrained on the front seat while my dad drove. Something you'll never see again.

Nope.  They didn't exist when I was that age (neither did seatbelts).
