They offer a money-back guarantee that they will find and remove viruses. She said they don't cover browser problems And I'd have to pay for their tech support. I said it wasn't a "browser problem." I have a virus that takes over every browser, and I've already deleted and reinstalled my browsers. There's a file on my system that deploys and hijacks the browsers. Apparently not, because if my PC had a virus, their service would alert me. Never mind that she could see the hijack in progress while McAfee was running. Nope. Their service works fine. Am I missing something? If the computer is not infected, and the hijack occurs on a clean browser- no extensions, add ons, nothing, what else could it be but a virus? And, if this isn't what McAfee does, what exactly does their service protect you from? O_o less

It also disables most of the page's functions.Proior to this, I had not installed any new programs on my computer in months, though I was on a site looking up "Hamlet" quotes the other day and got one of those annoying pop ups that said I was infected. I closed the window and went on with life.I run MacAffee and it didn't catch this. It still doesn't realize there's something there.Because I use Chrome, I cleaned that. I also removed all cookies from the last week and all of my cache. Nada.I ran Malwarebytes, which found and eradicated four files. I rebooted and enjoyed a couple hours of peace before the ad hijacker started again. Now, Malwarebytes sees nothing in repeated scans.I deleted Chrome and switched to FireFox. Within about 5 minutes, the malware took FF over too.I then switched to ESET scanner, which found and eradicated one file. I rebooted and the malware is still active... less

It wasn't simply screened but, in a faction of a second, zoomed from a point in the background until it seemed to zoom out into the room. Doubtless they were playing this almost-subliminal game in order to reinforce our desire to keep watching, and to watch again next year. No harm done there. But what if they do the same thing with consumer products or politics? What if bradcasters in various countries hit their viewers with subliminal photographs of a smiling Theresa May, or Validimir Putin, or Donald Trump, or Kim Jong Un? What would be the impact on viewers? Should we be worried? less

I am kind, giving, loving to most people on there, like all their pics, and posts, and I literally get NO reply , ever. It is making me feel low.. I just don't log in anymore. Even my two good friends have never liked or posted a reply to my things. I do want to remain there for a few people of the family I talk to, but what do you think of it overall ? less
