    Sure.  One day, when I was about 7, and living in poverty, I came home from school and momma said; "jump in the car; (a 1948 Chevy junker) you just won a new bicycle downtown at the Montgomery Wards store!"  I didn't understand because I never entered any contest before. Momma explained that she had entered my name in their 'Wishing Well' drawing. I even got my picture in the local newspaper!

    I can imagine how excited a seven year old would be getting his first bike. My uncle got me one from an impound when he was a cop. I was eight.

    When we were kids we could see a movie on Saturday morning at the cinema for six RC Cola bottle caps.  My friend and I always went.  Before they started the movie they always drew ticket stub numbers for awarding prizes.  They once called my number;  I won a carton of RC Cola.  I was too shy to walk up and claim my prize.  I TOLD YALL I WAS SHY AND YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE ME!!!
