  • There is something about this Central Texas weather that has me grabbing a coat if it drops below 70.  It's about 47 right now and I have my coat on, propped up in front of a space heater, and 3 dogs piled on top of me.

I don't bother with a coat at 47 if I'm running errands and I'm in and out of the car.  If I'm going to work and have to stand and wait for the bus, I need a coat.  Once it hits 70, I don't need to wear a coat or jacket.

I quite love the cold.  Makes me feel good and clean and pure.  Below 15 degrees Fahrenheit I wear a nightgown and close the windows.

My comfort zone is about 60 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Warmer, and I wish to cool off.
Cooler, and I wish to warm up.

Below 50 degrees I break out the second pair of wool socks.  lol

We've been friends for many years and in those years have found we have many things in common.

You are in the perfect place for your climate taste.
    It's wonderful to hear, Walt.

Anything below 20F is too cold for me.

I too live in California, but I don't run for a sweater until it reaches 44F (50F is balmy)

It gets so humid in our summer months...when there is no breeze ,it can often get abysmal ...our cellar is big and the only real cool places in our home...

I meant the country. Does the island sweat?
Last year we had about 25 days at 32C and above. I couldn't go outside for more than 15 minutes.

Billie Eilish gets cold in LA.  I know that.  Do you want proof of that statement ?

She lives in paradise. I don't use the H word much, if ever, however:  I hate the cold weather, I hate the snow, I hate cold dreary days.

This morning it as -12F and I wore my heavier jacket. I try not to go out when it's -30F or colder, but when I was working, I often had no choice.

  • If the weather requires a coat...its too damn cold.  I don't do well below 50.
It does however get the ole creative juices flowing
because that's when I start making up all sorts of new curse words.

Element speaks the truth.  I am a wimp when it comes to being cold. I get to the point where I won't move across the room to put on socks because I don't want to create a breeze across my feet.

Sometimes, getting out of the bath or shower is a nightmare.  The thought of taking one make me wince.

You might think, why don't you turn up the heat? We do but we have been remodeling our house since the day we bought it (10+ years ago) and it is always a bit breezy, no matter what we do.  The only answer I can find is STOP remodeling and poking holes in our house.

I could Never live comfortably in a climate such as Element.  He is much stronger than I.

I have a 10 degree tolerance of weather bliss.  With 80 being the perfect temperature, 74 is turtleneck weather and 86 requires a tickle of a breeze.
