It's a gloomy, rainy day. What are some songs I can listen to and fully embrace the mood?

Songs about sunshine and hope are not welcome here.

  • I used to be able to kill this song on piano. Can still get through it pretty good even with not playing as much as I used to but there are definitely some stumbles along the way.

That is cool. I am not that musical. I was able to play the baseline to Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. (Very simple and repeats the entire song)

  • If a tambourine player can call themselves a musician than I say your musical enough being able to play the bass line to this song. The early 90's and hard rock was so winning.  Here's another of my gloomy favorites.

My daughter's favourite song, and it will be the Bridal Waltz at her wedding. There are very few Rock numbers in 3/4 time, but that's one of them.

The video is excellent. It certainly would not brighten my day, though.

  • I'm embracing the gloom....this is an anti-brightening music post.

I'm kind of like Minnie Pearl - I leave the price tag on things so that people can see I'm a big spender. Cheers!

That is also a recent fad amongst young folks. Especially those who can't afford it. "I am hungry, but I got a new pair of Jordans."
