    I would think they do to some extent, however, it's also true to say that most wild animals would have encountered many storms so are perhaps less bothered by them than some humans are/

    Good question, and I should like to see an authoritative answer. Electric storms certainly have bothered every dog we have ever owned - shaking, cringing and the wild eyes.
