I haven't heard or seen any news reports on how the Democrats would tackle climate change. Does anyone know?

Depends on which one you ask.  Biden would do as he was instructed.

    Thank you, Thrifty. :)

So who would do the instructing?

The planet will do what it's gonna do.  Not much we can do to reverse the movement of the poles and the resulting melt. Perhaps Superman can come and help move it back.

Thank you for your reply, Wilson.

I partially agree, insofar as we can no longer stop climate change.
It's definitely too late for that.

But we can still make a big difference to how severe it becomes and how fast that change occurs.
The difference is between the capacity to adapt and survive,
against massive species extinctions and total collapse of all agriculture by 2050.
In the worst-case scenario, which is statisically highly probable if we (the world) take no action now,
people alive now will not live out our natural lifespan.

The science is easily accessible on the internet.
There are science- trained journalists who have specialised in translating the technical language into easily understandable concepts.

The technology that can save us has been invented and is now well-proven and cheaper than fossil fuels.
Some technology, such as better batteries and power from hydrogen, is still in need of development and refinement.

The facts are now so widely publised, and permanently available free online,
that if people don't know it by now,
it's because they've deliberately chosen to avoid learning about it.

I believe that their number one tactic is to point fingers at their opposition for not handling it “correctly” without offering their own well thought-out plan(s), number two tactic is to complain that their opposition is not handling it “correctly” without offering their own well thought-out plan(s), and lastly, their final tactic is to sit back and claim I-told-you-so to their opposition for not handling it “correctly”, even though they said nothing about their own well thought-out plan(s).
