Here in th USA we call our mothers mom. Small children often call her mommy.

In England they call their mothers mum. Do small children there call her mummy?

    I call /called my mother everything , more so when she use to nick my hooch......Mum,mother,mater ,Ma .....mummy when asking where she is... :)
