Since nobody is working, why are only a few of us here?

Never mind...there's also nobody here to answer this question.

    I'll answer.
    :)

Sometimes I avoid this time of day lately on the site to avoid seeing all the gubment and hoax questions.
I can have a tendency to fret on my own, I don't need that much help from others to do it, too. (and, no, I'm not advocating stifling anyone's posting what they want to post.)

It’s a gubment hoax that has you thinking that way. They’ve tapped into your brain because you didn’t wear your tinfoil hat.

I will continue to work until the boss can't find anything to do. I am a sort of 'senior employee,'  so I will end up doing odd jobs until there is no business activity. However, the govt. may shut everyone down.

I’m not going to let pandemic turn me into someone who’s online 24/7. I’d rather lick someone with the corona than become “that” person lol.

That being said, I was still working until noon today...Im hoping start getting yard work and house stuff started tommorow to stay productive. I’ll probably just end up binge watching Netflix instead though :)

Don't forget to maybe check out that 1995 TV series I shared in your other question about binge watching for a month - - "American Gothic"! Ha! :)

This clip I'm posting has some minor plot spoilers to the show but I've always liked Marilyn Manson's cover of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and I like this compilation of moments someone put together with the song with 'Merlyn' (played excellently by Sarah Paulson) from the show -- if anything, maybe check out this video. No biggie, though. :)

I love that cover of that song too :) thanks for the reminder of the show, I’ll add it to my queue. I’m trying to stay off regular television and stuck to streaming cos all the news is starting to push my anxiety over the edge lol.

    I get it. :)
The last couple of days I've been checking the news at least once a day (as far as corona) and then going on, a moment at a time, through the day. Taking in all of that corona news 24-hours a day is simply not good for me. Worse than the virus itself.

If you can, at least check out the first episode; it's great -- and the quote "Someone's at the door" - - - SO excellent!
    :)

I love the Eurhythmics' original "Sweet Dreams" but I really like how Manson did his own take on it. (And I still sort of think Disturbed used his 'formula' when they re-did Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence." )

    :)

I am still working, video conferencing sucks.  Just got back in town for awhile, since everything is on lockdown it appears to be at least a month.

Our business model has been upended along with everyone else.  So we are in the scramble phase of planning a response to incomplete information.  they only folks who could help died in 1918-1920 - they lived and died in similar
