  • $2.96 every couple of months for Chlortabs.  I was buying Excedrin Migraine, but it's discontinued until further notice, so I take Advil Migraine and it is almost as good as Excedrin.  Advil is almost $10 every couple of months.  So, that's the extent of my health costs.

Dang...I was going to ask this.

    5 scrip meds @$7.00 co-pay for 3 month supply. 35/3= $11.67
    Aspirin  50 cents.
    Ibuprophen  800mg/day. About $4.00/month.
    No supplements.

    Hmm.
Do you use alcohol as a pain-killer?
If so, maybe the grog bill counts as part of your meds.
    Or does it?

    Usually zero.

Back in December, I was out snigging camphour laurel logs.
There was some sort of tiny insect, something I couldn't see, hear or feel, which bit all over my torso underneath my T-shirt.
I waited for a week in the expectation that the bites and itches would fade.
    Instead, they multiplied.

I went to the doctor for the first time in six years.
    It was hives.

She prescribed calamine lotion and antihistamine tablets - $24.00.

The combo worked reasonably well - reduced symptoms by a third within 24 hrs.
Added bonus, good sleep - side effect of the drug.

Please define “snigging camphour laurel logs”, we don’t speak Australian. Thank you.
